Subject: Mandatory Optum Portal Changes
Attention Optum Insight/ENS Users
Dear Prime Clinical Client,
In recent months, Optum has upgraded their Portal which now provides new tools and options for their users. Optum has requested all users migrate to their upgraded Portal. This is a mandatory change and without making the necessary preparations, your office will not have access to Optum’s Portal after their cutover date. All clients using Optum as their Clearing House solution must also migrate to Optum’s new Portal.
Before this can happen, you will be required to create a new login ID and password with Optum. For the purpose of training, we recommend that only 1 primary user be credentialed at this time. The attached instructions, Optum Self Registration will guide you through this process. After you have created a new login and password, please email the information back to Ashley at Ashley@Primeclinical.com for provisioning.
In coordination with Optum Insight, Prime Clinical Systems will be hosting a Learning Community Webinar. This webinar will provide you the opportunity to learn how to move around, and access new features on the Portal. After we receive your new login ID and password, you will receive a call from Ashley with training dates and times for the Webinar.
This will be the only time this training will occur. Clients, who are unable to attend, will be required to provision and learn the new Portal on their own.
