Prime has recently noticed an increase in the amount of clients having difficulty connecting to Medi-Cal. Due to changes at Medi-Cal related to a new takeover by another vendor, it appears that changes have also been made to their system of which Prime Clinical Systems was not informed.

At this time, it would be our recommendation to switch your EB Transactions for Medi-Cal to go through your clearing house, or upload the claims via the Internet. For Instructions on uploading your claims via the Internet, please contact Medi-Cal EDI at 1-800-541-5555 or visit their website at www.medi-cal.ca.gov.
