Version 9.12.26 was released January 13, 2012.

This update contains software modifications and features to streamline office procedures. A brief overview follows of the changes. 

                      Overview of New and Enhanced Features

The following summary of new and modified features in the most recent versions of Intellect is available to quickly see what features we've added to the program which may benefit your office.  If you are interested in updating your version, you should read the complete, detailed release notes available on our website: Click here for version 9.12.26.

The detailed release notes contain important information you need to know before updating.   

Fixes for reported problems are not included in the Overview of New and Enhanced Features; please refer to the detailed release notes. 

Charges 

Modify:  

·         Be warned in the Information Panel if you are trying to set the <Who> column to an invalid selection.

·         View the appropriate Utility screen from six fields in the Information Panel.     

·         Be prompted to see if you want to change the treatment history to the appropriate insurance.  

Payment 

Open Item:

·         Use the new CoPay field to view accumulative CoPayment amounts.

Billing

Tele Com/Submit Claims:

·         Transmit the 'Pay To' address when it is different than the physical address; i.e., a P.O. Box. 

Utility

Set Up/Clinic and Provider/Provider:

·         Still wish to receive payments at a P.O. Box? It's now possible using our four new fields. 

Schedule

Appointment/Self Check In:

·         Allow patients to update their demographic information.

·         Allow patients to pay by credit card.

·         Be notified via a new icon at the top of the main screen that a patient has checked-in.
