Dear Prime Clinical Client,

As you know,  the ICD-10 mandate date has been postponed to October 2015.

Intellect includes a trigger that is a date field which, when entered, will begin to prompt to use the ICD-10 codes, effective this date.  The original date of 10/01/2014 was automatically included as part of the update that was released prior to the mandate delay being announced.  At this time, we recommend that any client on a version greater than 13.03.01 set the date to the next mandate date of 10/01/2015, or leave the date blank and update one day prior to October 1, 2015.

To update the trigger date for ICD-10 in Intellect, please follow the instructions given below.

1. Go to Utility --►Set Up --►Parameter --►Modify:  Enter in the clinic number and press [Enter]. Note: If you have more than one clinic, this procedure needs to be done for each clinic.

2. In the field <ICD10 Effective Date>, either press the [space bar] to clear out the date, OR enter the new mandate date of 10/01/2015, followed by clicking on the [Modify] button at the bottom of your screen.
