Noridian EDI Claim Submission Is Now!
For All JE Medicare Part A Submitters
Full JE Implementation for Medicare Part A is on Monday (8/26/13)! Noridian will continue to share relevant and critical information in regards to the JE Implementation. Noridian, in collaboration with Palmetto GBA and CMS, has established the following dates to begin the transfer process of EDI Enrollment and EDI Claims Processing from Palmetto GBA to Noridian.
Reminder: All JE Submitters must submit EDI claims to Noridian’s gateway utilizing the NEW Contractor IDs (listed below).

Contractor ID Will Change at Cutover
For All JE Medicare Part A Submitters
Effective August 21, 2013, JE Medicare Part A Submitters needed to begin sending their claims to Noridian using the new Contractor IDs effective at 11:00 a.m. (PT) for Early Boarders and 2:00 p.m (PT) for all other Medicare Part A Submitters.
The Contractor ID (Payer ID) will need to be updated in the following segments in the 837 Health Care Claim transaction:
· ISA08
· GS03
· 1000B (NM109) NM1*40
· 2010BB (NM109) NM1*PR
Note: Effective August 21, 2013 at 11:00 a.m. (PT) for Medicare Part A Early Boarders and at 2:00 pm (PT) for all other Medicare Part A Submitters, if you use the pre-implementation Contractor ID you will receive a rejection on the 999 until 9:59 pm (PT) on Friday, August 23, 2013. Starting at 10:00 pm (PT) on Friday, August 23, 2013, files sent containing a pre-implementation Contractor ID will reject on the TRNACK report.

J1 WPS Legacy – Part A Contractor ID: If the provider joined Palmetto GBA and was previously with WPS, the J1 WPS Legacy – Part A Contractor would be used.

For All JE Medicare Part A Submitters
In order for the new Contractor IDs to become available in the PC-ACE Pro32 software, all JE Medicare Part A Submitters that utilize PC-ACE Pro32 for claim submission must update their software no sooner than August 21, 2013, at 1:00 p.m. CT / 11:00 a.m. PT. To update your PC-ACE Pro32 software, visit http://www.edissweb.com/cgp/software/pcace.html.

Effective August 26, 2013, JE Medicare Part A Submitters should contact EDI at 1-855-609-9960. Medicare Part B Providers and Submitters will continue to use 1-855-721-4184 until September 16, 2013, when they will begin using the 1-855-609-9960 phone number.
