For All JE Medicare Part B Submitters
As of today, effective at 11:00 a.m. (PT) for Early Boarders and 2:00 p.m. (PT) for all other Jurisdiction E (JE) Part B Submitters, Palmetto will no longer be accepting electronic claim submissions. Submitters will need to transmit their claims to Noridian’s EDI gateway system utilizing the new JE Contractor IDs.

What do I need to do?
Ensure that your software is updated with the new Contractor IDs in the following 837 loops and segments:
· ISA08
· GS03
· 1000B (NM109) NM1*40
· 2010BB (NM109) NM1*PR
Important Notice: The first claims cycle will be run on the evening of September 16,2013, EDI will be collecting/processing claims this weekend and holding them to upload into the Medicare system. Below is the schedule for the EDI claims upload for JE Medicare Part B:

Noridian will upload claim files sent to EDI from 9/12/13 - 9/13/13 into the Medicare system. The claims will be viewable in the Medicare system on 9/17/13. |

Noridian will upload claim files sent to EDI from 9/14/13 - 9/17/13 into the Medicare system. The claims will be viewable in the Medicare system on 9/18/13. |
Noridian EDI Production System Access
For All JE Medicare Part BSubmitters
EDI Support Services (EDISS) has sent out production faxes containing theSubmitter’s login ID and password information for JE Medicare Part B Submitters, if we had contact information.
If you have not received your login ID and password information, contact EDISS to provide a contact name and fax number. You are able to connect to our gateway system via dial-up, network service vendor or by selecting a clearinghouse or billing service. A list of connectivity vendors can be found at http://www.edissweb.com/cgp/software/.

Do I Need to Create an Account in Total OnBoarding?
For All JE Medicare Submitters
As of August 30, 2013, JE Part B Submitters making any changes or additions to their EDI Enrollment will need to make the needed changes utilizing their Total OnBoarding (TOB) profile at https://noridian.totalonboarding.com.
If you were billing electronically through Palmetto previously, and you have not already taken over your TOB account, EDISS is asking that you contact us so that we may provide you with your 8-character authorization code. We would be happy to walk you through the TOB process.
