For All JE Medicare Part A Submitters

JE Medicare Part A Submitters now send their claims to Noridian!

Ensure that you are using the new Contractor IDs. The Contractor ID (Payer ID) will need to be updated in the following segments in the 837 Health Care Claim transaction:

·        ISA08

·        GS03

·        1000B (NM109) NM1*40

·        2010BB (NM109) NM1*PR

Updated: Effective August 21, 2013, at 11:00 a.m. (PT) for Medicare Part A Early Boarders and at 2:00 pm (PT) for all other Medicare Part A Submitters,  if you use the pre-implementation Contractor ID you will receive a rejection on the 999 Acknowledgment Report.

Below is the listing of the new Contractor IDs:

Note:   Medicare Part A Roll-up Contractor ID: JE Medicare Part A Submitters can use either the Medicare Part A Roll-up Contractor ID or their state specific Contractor ID.

J1 WPS Legacy – Part A Contractor ID: If the provider joined Palmetto GBA and was previously with WPS, the J1 WPS Legacy – Part A Contractor would be used.

Noridian EDI Production System Access

For All JE Medicare Part A Submitters

All Jurisdiction E (JE) Part A Submitters that EDI Support Services (EDISS) has been able to confirm a contact and fax number for, should have received a fax containing their login ID and password information. If you have not received your login ID and password information, contact EDISS to provide a contact name and fax number. You are able to connect to our gateway system via dial-up, network service vendor or by selecting a clearinghouse or billing service. A list of connectivity vendors can be found at http://www.edissweb.com/cgp/software/.

JE IVR Phone Number Effective August 26, 2013

For All JE Medicare Part A Submitters

Effective August 26, 2013, JE Medicare Part A Submitters should contact EDISS at 1-855-609-9960. Medicare Part B Providers and Submitters will continue to use 1-855-721-4184 until September 16, 2013, when they will also begin using the 1-855-609-9960 phone number.

For All JE Medicare Part A Submitters

In order for the new Contractor IDs to become available in the PC-ACE Pro32 software, all JE Medicare Part A Submitters that utilize PC-ACE Pro32 for claim submission must update their software. To update your PC-ACE Pro32 software, visit http://www.edissweb.com/cgp/software/pcace.html.
