Prime Clinical Systems Announces

the release of

Intellect Version 9.12.20

(Note: There was no version 9.12.19)

In October 2011, Version 9.12.20 was released.

This update contains the ANSI 5010 requirements, though you are able to continue posting using ANSI 4010 until ready to switch. Please note the following:

• Before changing the electronic billing for your clearinghouse, you must contact them to verify they are ready to accept ANSI 5010.

• Before changing the electronic billing for Medicare, you must contact them to verify they are ready to accept ANSI 5010.

Version 9.12.20 contains software modifications and features to streamline office procedures. A brief overview follows of the changes.

Fixes for reported problems are not included in the Overview of New and Enhanced Features; please refer to the detailed release notes.

Registration

Regular and Worker:

* Expedite insurance updates using the new [Add Insurance] and [Modify Insurance] buttons on the Modify Patient/Worker screens.

Worker:

* <Race> and <Ethnicity> fields are now available, by request, on the Registration screen.

Charges

Charge:

* To facilitate ANSI 5010 requirements, an <Admission Type> field has been added to the UB Encounter screen.

Billing

Tele Com/Access Claim Report:

* Be less paper dependent! View an on-screen Acknowledgement report (minimal set up required).

Utility

Set Up/Parameter:

* Control the length of time charges will no longer print on patient statements!

Provider:

* Are you utilizing the Eligibility Feature? If so, you can now limit which benefits the Insurance/payor should submit.

Insurance/Tele Com:

* <Version> field update enables ANSI 5010 claim submission.

Procedure/Inventory

* Make use of the new optional 20-character <Item Size 3> field.

Maintenance/General Import

* Update existing records using the new [Update] button.

Schedule

Appointment/Full Day:

* Use the flexibility of the new [App. List] tab to display information based on scheduled appointments.

Appointment/Print:

* Add a "Billing Doctor" column to your Daily Schedule with Blank Lines report.
