Surgery Tab Aids
Surgery Scheduling

tab on the Modify
Appointment
dialog box was
added in version
9.12.18 for surgery
scheduling. This
option allows
clients to:

date it was received
•
enter messages
and notes
•
enter DX
and Cpt Codes
and descriptions
along with MODIFIERS
•
print various
forms like Pre
and Post procedure

SureScripts
SureScripts
announced it will
be supporting
electronic subscriptions
of controlled
substances (EPCS).
They are just
beginning the
initial phase
of implementation
and at this time
only 3 vendors
are certified.
In addition,
California still
does not allow
electronic prescriptions
for controlled
substances. When
this becomes available,
Prime Clinical
Systems will notify
all our Patient
Chart Manager
clients.

much as $1.4 billion
in federal incentive

launched a staggered
application process
for its Medicaid
portion of the
program.

and has worked
as a medical assistant/cardiac
tech assistant
for four years
for a cardiology
practice in Northern
California. She
is currently attending
Chabot college
in Hayward, CA
for her AA and
then transferring
to a Radiology/Ultrasound
technician program.
Southern
California
Jacqueline
Jones
has
joined our PCM
training staff.
She brings more
than 13 years
of experience
in the medical
field including
supervising the
front office,
medical billing,
working as a referral
coordinator, and
being in charge
of batch training
and Urgent Care
training at U.S.
Healthworks. Additionally,
she has exceptional
talent in client
and insurance
carrier relationships,
customer service,
solving problems,
special projects,
and handling emergencies.
