Recent PCM Additions & Updates
The following changes are for PCM versions 5.5.1219 to 5.5.1233.
To ensure that all of the changes apply to you, make sure that you have the latest PCM Version. Changes were made in the following areas:

One of the latest Intellect releases (14.08.25) included the ability to export reports to PCM (Ver. 5.5.1225 or higher is required). For specifics, click here.
@ signs that are black, and not DB fields, will no longer be removed on signing. Email addresses are now preserved if typed in.
A new drug data update includes the fact that Tramadol is now a Schedule IV substance. Additionally, the Print, Phone, and Fax buttons are now enabled. When responding to an electronic refill request, you can use any of these options. The printed prescription will have the Pharmacy’s reference number, and, therefore, the pharmacy will be able to tell this is a response to an eRx.
Superscripts no longer has the forced requirement to use eRx. If the provider wants to fax the prescription instead, they can now do so.
Also, if there was an error that causes the eRX button to disappear, the prescription can still be completed via Print, Phone, or Fax, etc.
The combo box drop down menus for the Prescription Form now show the full text of all the items; before, the width of the combo box was only as wide as the cell it was in, and at times, did not show the whole word.
Since PCM Ver. 5.5.1215, there has been a problem with double-clicking to edit existing medications. Now, Seq 1 and Seq 0 medications can be edited either by double-click or right click and Change dose/Sig.
The Medication History View shows the reason a medication was removed.
Reminders for patients marked as inactive or deceased will not be generated.
The Audit Trail for logging HL7 transmissions to Imm Registry and Syndrome Reporting Registry via Newcrop now shows the Event as "Web Services - Newcrop", and the Document or Comment field logs the type. "SendToRegistry-IMM-CAIR or Syndrome reporting is activated; in the future, it will log "SendToRegistry-SYND-CAIR.
The latest Messenger server now logs when users inside PCM send a message via PCM messenger to a patient’s Patient Portal. The Event will be PCM Messenger with the Document or Comment as the subject of the message.
The pa_comment1 and pa_comment2 fields have been added to the custom chart data pane.
Comment 1 in PCM is Remark from Intellect
For all patient views of the Problem list, the SNOMED, ICD10, and SYNDR DATE (date syndrome was reported) columns were added for display.
