Versions 9.12.23 - 9.12.25 were released December of 2011.

These updates contain software modifications and features to streamline office procedures. A brief overview follows of the changes. 

Overview of New and Enhanced Features

Fixes for reported problems are not included in the Overview of New and Enhanced Features; please refer to the detailed release notes. 

Registration

Patient:    

• An automated task has been added to update the patient zip code fields with the 9-digit zip code by accessing the USPS.com website. 

 
Charges 

Encounter/UB Encounter:  

• A new 6-character field for in-patient billing has been added to the UB Encounter for PPS/DRG codes. The field can be programmed to print on your UB04 forms.

Charge Review:

• New buttons at the bottom of the Charge Review screen expedite processing. 

Billing

Tele Com/Submit Claims:

• For the 5010 requirement, it is no longer necessary to remove the Facility Name, Address, and NPI when the Facility POS is 11 and the Group Provider NPI is the same as the Facility NPI.

Schedule

Recall - Automated Task:

• Automated Recall letters may be set to print based on either the Date column in the Recall screen or the calendar date the record was added.
