IMPORTANT PROGRAM MODIFICATIONS
The following Release Notes include the features and modifications made in the current update. PCS suggests you provide each department a copy of the Release Notes so they are aware of the changes which may affect their department.
In order to be aware of ALL changes in the software, please read all release notes from the version you are currently on through to the version to which you are updating.
Update may include items labeled ATTENTION which will IMMEDIATELY affect Billing and other daily tasks. Please be sure to notify all departments which will be affected.

Schedule
NEW Schedule --►Appointment --►Full Day --►Appointment --►Appointment List--►Balance -- Print Statement
Users can now print a Patient Statement from the Appointment List when the ‘Balance’ option is added to the header. To print a statement, look in the 'Balance' column for the patient's balance and right-click on it to display the drop-down:
Click on 'Patient Statement' to display the print screen:
Select a printer and click [Print].
Misc
NEW Misc --► View Sent Items
Effective in this release, a new function was implemented when emailing forms from the Schedule --►Appointment --►Full Day --►Add Appointment [□ Patient Demographic] drop-down feature. When the forms are chosen, and after the patient receives and updates the interactive form, the program updates the Misc --►View Sent Items option with the date and time the form was updated by the patient. See sample below:
Third Party Vendor Options
NEW HL7 ADT and SIU messages
This latest Intellect version now includes an integrated function to send ADT/SIU messages to outside Vendors. This option requires set up. Contact support@primeclinical.com to schedule your update.

Billing
MODIFICATION Billing --►Insurance -- HCFA 1500
Effective in this release, when printing claims on HCFA 1500 forms that include an NDC number, the NDC now has 3 spaces between the NDC number and the QTY:
Utility
NEW Utility --►Task Manager -- PCM DIT Updates
PCM users only. As of this release, a new TASK_DRUGDATA task inserts PCM's DIT Updates into Intellect's program, as shown below. Please contact PCS Support for details.
This task uses ‘satpara.dat,Update.txt (<parametername="FILE_NAMES" value="satpara.dat,Update.txt" /> ), contingent on the need.
This task should be set up as a Yearly Task to run the 1st of each year. If, for any reason, the Task did not run (the server was down, there was a Windows update, etc.) users may run this task manually by going to Management --►Run Tasks and clicking on the Run Yearly Tasks option. This immediately initiates the task to run.

NEW Utility --►Task Manager -- Archive PCM Log File
PCM users only. Effective in this release, there is a new task that archives the PCM LOG_FILE from Intellect.
This task should be set up as a Yearly Task to run the 1st of each year.
