IMPORTANT PROGRAM MODIFICATIONS

 

 

The following Release Notes include the features and modifications made in the current update. PCS suggests you provide each department a copy of the Release Notes so they are aware of the changes which may affect their department.

 

In order to be aware of ALL changes in the software, please read all release notes from the version you are currently on through to the version to which you are updating.  

 

Update may include items labeled ATTENTION which will IMMEDIATELY affect Billing and other daily tasks. Please be sure to notify all departments which will be affected.

Known Issue:

Misc--►Load Form
In this version when users clicked the [Print] button on the Print Loading Forms dialog box only gibberish would print as there was a corrupted HCFA file. As a work-around, the problem was solved by loading a new HCFA file.
This problem will be corrected in the next update.

Billing--►Tele Com - 277
In this version 15.05.12, when there is and edit on one of the CPT codes found for one patient, the printed version of the 277 report continues the same edit on all the other patients listed on the report as well.
This problem will be corrected in a subsequent release.

 

Charges

FIX Charges--►Charge

In software version 15.04.28 there was a Known Issue when committing charges when the insurance was set to CASH. This was corrected in patch 15.04.30 and included in this updated.

 

MODIFICATION Charges--►Charge

As of this update, the <Diagnosis Code> field was increased to 40 characters. The increased field size allows users to type in ICD-10 codes.

 

 

Schedule

NEW FEATURE Schedule--►Appointment – Text Message Reminder with Confirmation

Effective in this update, patients may respond to text message appointment reminders. To facilitate patients' ability to confirm text message reminders, users must:

 

· Have a Twilio account

· Purchase a phone number from Twilio

· Enter the Twilio-purchased phone number into the <Twilio Phone No.> field on the Utility--►Tools--►Configuration screen. Note: This field was added in this update.

· Set up a task in Utility--►Task Manager
