Ledger/Collection

 

 

Collection Ledger

 

This menu option is used primarily to search for and display ledger remarks, letters and tasks for patient accounts. The screen actually has three components: a search entry area, and two display areas. The first display is an information area for a single selected patient. This display is almost completely identical to the account display seen in the Open Item and Account Ledgers. The second display area presents a Multi Line Table Display of ledger remarks as requested in various search criteria fields.

 

 

 

 

 

From Date

If desired enter the beginning date of tasks you wish to view. You may leave blank (press [Enter]) to view all patient transactions.

 

To Date                                      

f desired, enter the ending date of tasks you wish to view. You may leave blank (press [Enter]) to view all patient transactions.

 

Collection Flag

If desired enter the Collection Flag Code to return only remarks associated with that flag.

You may press [Enter] to view all flag types.

Press the [F2] search key to display the following valid choices:

 

 

Account Number

If you with to return only a single patient account, enter the account no of the patient to be viewed or flagged.

System may default a recent Patient No.

You may leave blank (press [Enter]) to view all accounts.

 

User Number

If you wish to limit the return information for only a specific user (operator), enter the Utility --►Set Up --►Security --►Login Users <User Number>.

You may leave blank (press [Enter]) to view all User tasks.

 

Misc. information for <User Number>:

1) The field will default the User Number of the person logged in

2) The default can be changed to another User Number or left blank, thus requesting ALL User Numbers

3) The field is Numeric and therefore can NOT be used with the * (wild card)

4) Deleted remarks will NOT be displayed

5) This can be used with or without a ‘Collection Flag’ and ‘Account No.’

6) The same date or a range of dates should ALWAYS be used (i.e., enter the same date or range of dates in the <From Date> and <To Date> fields).

 

Press [Enter]

 

If results are found: Multi Row Table Display will appear with focus in the Command Column of the first line.
