5 New/Modified Intellect Features
Since our last newsletter, update 9.12.30 was released April 10, 2012 which included five modifications and/or new features.
o When using the Family Statement feature in the Ledger/Accounting and Ledger/Open Item options, the ledgers will now display the guarantor's statement cycle number instead of the patient. For clients not using the Family Statement feature, there will be no affect.
o To meet HIPAA requirements, all emailed Management reports with financial information are now sent as an encrypted pdf attachment and require a password to open/unencrypt.
o The Management/Financial reports now include a new Net Expected field at the bottom of the report which represents the sum of the approved amount.
o
Most Management/Analysis/Utilization reports now include a new Expected
column which displays the sum of the approved amount.
o When importing charges from an outside vendor, use the Utility/Messages/HL7 Mapping option to 'map' the codes provided in an HL7 file to the codes set up in Intellect. This does not affect clients importing charges from PCM.
Additional information is available in the release note.
