Recent PCM Additions and Updates

 

Since our last newsletter, over a dozen changes have been made in the PCM program through version 5.5.1119. Make sure that you have the latest PCM and TS Client Version to ensure that all of the changes apply to you. Click here to view our updates.  

 

 

Intellect News

 

Report Designer Made Easier  

 

When using <Field> on either the Data Source tab (version 13.06.24) or via the Report Key(s) icon (version 13.07.08), <Field> now has a tree which categorizes available choices using table groups and field names for ease of selection and accuracy.

Cut Time Calling Patients   

 

New <Voice Message> and <Text to Voice> fields have been added to:

 

Management--Aging--Report Aging

Management--Letters--News Letter - Message

Schedule--Recall--Print--BOP and GOP

 

Once set up, these fields can cut down on time for offices calling patients. When <Voice Message> is selected, your recorded MP3 file format message plays when the call is made. <Text Message> requires an account with Twilio, as Twilio reads the message entered in the <Text to Voice> field when a call is made.

Carl Natale of ICD-10 Watch stated in his June 26, 2013 that not only do healthcare providers have to make sure their organizations can handle ICD-10 codes, they need to make sure healthcare payers can handle their medical claims.

 

This starts with communication with payers as soon as possible. This will help establish a relationship that makes the difference between a smooth and rocky ICD-10 transition.
