ICD-10 Code Review and Superbill Changes
With the ICD-10 deadline extended, your office can take this opportunity to review and familiarize yourselves with the new codes, and help your providers familiarize themselves with the new codes as well. This is also the best time to review your forms for any changes. The deadline for any new superbill/forms changes related to ICD-10 is extended by one year to August 14, 2015.
Additionally, in Intellect's Utility/Set Up/Parameter option, the <ICD10 Effective Date> field should be changed to 10/01/2015.
How Current Is Your Software?
Since our March/April Newsletter, Intellect software versions 14.04.15 and 14.04.28 were released in April. Software version 14.05.14 was released in May. Multiple modifications and new features were made in these updates.
