Print Batch of Patients (Form Printing)

 

This option allows the printing of Registration Forms for a single account or a small batch of patients. Forms may be requested for patients based on Account Numbers. 

 

1. To print a Registration Form in Intellect, go to Schedule --►Appointment --►Registration --►Batch of Patients.

 

 

The Batch Entry for Patient screen displays:

 

 

2. Account                                     

 

2.1 Enter the patient account number for whom to print a Registration Form.

 

2.2 Press [Enter] to display the account information on the screen. For example:

 

 

: Allows an account to be removed from the list by typing 'D' in this column and pressing [Enter].

 

: Displays the patient's account number.

 

: Displays the patient's name.

 

: Displays the patient's social security number.

Effective version 16.11.10, the SSN only displays the very last 4 digits and the rest are represented with asterisks (***-**-1234), unless the data in the database is malformed or incomplete.

 

Effective version 16.12.02, users have the options of masking the SSN (displaying only the last 4 digits) or not masking the SSN. For additional information, see Utility --►Set Up --►Screen Fields, Masking/Unmasking the Social Security Number (SSN).

 

: Displays the patient's insurance.

 

: Displays the patient's date of birth.

 

2.2.1 Every time [Enter] is pressed, the focus returns to the <Account> field, allowing additional accounts to be added (accepts up to 99) to process as a single batch.

 

2.2.2 Type any additional account numbers (one at a time) and press [Enter] to add.

 

3. After the information is completely entered, select one of these options: 

 

 

3.1 Click the [Print] button OR press [Enter] to display the printer dialog box:

 

 

3.1.1 Printer Properties:

 

3.1.1.1 Printer: The default printer for the logged-in clinic and password is selected. To select a different printer, either click on the arrow, OR press the → (right arrow) on the keyboard to view the list of printer codes. In our example, the defaulted Printer is HP. This is just an example of a printer name and may or may not be set up on the system.

 

To select the printer type, click on the code, OR use the ↑ (up) and ↓ (down) arrows to highlight the correct code; then press the [Enter] key to select.

 

3.1.1.2 Number of Copies: This field defaults to either 0 (zero) or 1. Both print 1 copy. To print more than one copy, enter the number of copies.

 

3.1.2 Fax/Email:

In addition to printing reports, Intellect provides the capability to export reports to an Excel spreadsheet, Email, Fax, Disk, or Archive. A secondary printer may also be selected, if one is set up, by clicking on the arrow to display the drop-down list.

 

3.1.3 Select the [Print] button to send the request to the printer (or as a Fax or email).

 

3.1.4 Select the [Cancel] button to clear the screen and return to the Batch Entry for Patient screen without saving or printing.

 

3.2 Click [Exit] to clear the screen and return the focus to the main Intellect screen without saving.
